Therapeutic indications:
Folifer tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, and improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
- Anemia due to folic acid deficiency
- Iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women
- Treatment of megaloblastic anemias due to a deficiency of folic acid
Treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, pregnancy, infancy, or childhood
Description:
FOLIFER is a medicine combined in a single galenic formula of ferrous sulfate with folic acid. Concomitant administration of folic acid and iron facilitates the physiological response of iron deficiency treatment.
FOLIFER releases 60 mg of elemental iron, which meets WHO recommendations. Due to the unique galenic formula, it has a good tolerability, compared to other iron products and the administration of one tablet a day, increases compliance to treatment.
